Star lite ! Star bright !

Star lite ! Star bright ! Now , what does this mean ? Star lite ! Star bright ! Have you ever had this desire of just picking out a little glittering star from the clear skylite at night and putting it into your pocket or purse ? Do you know the reason why it looks so small than it's actual real size which is almost the same size as our round shape earth ? It looks small from afar because these stars are millions and millions of light years away from our planet hence the size of the real star when seen from the naked eye .

A little introduction about the real existence of stars . A star is a massive, luminous ball of plasma. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun, which is the source of most of the energy on Earth. Other stars are visible in the night sky, when they are not outshone by the Sun. A star shines because nuclear fusion in its core releases energy that traverses the star's interior and then radiates into outer space. Almost all elements heavier than hydrogen and helium were created inside the cores of stars. Stars have always been important to every culture. They have been used in religious practices and for celestial navigation and orientation. Many ancient astronomers believed that stars were permanently affixed to a heavenly sphere, and that they were immutable. By convention, astronomers grouped stars into constellations and used them to track the motions of the planets and the inferred position of the Sun.The motion of the Sun against the background stars (and the horizon) was used to create calendars, which could be used to regulate agricultural practices.The Gregorian calendar, currently used nearly everywhere in the world, is a solar calendar based on the angle of the Earth's rotational axis relative to the nearest star, the Sun.

I truly enjoy admiring these stars especially when they are brightly twinkling in the wee hours of the morning skylite. It some sort of - gives me a happy feeling to admire these extraordinary creations of the universe . I give thanks and praises to God each time I admire these beautiful sceneries which in reality is so hard for many of us to appreciate these simple beauty of life and enviroment . It is soothing to the eyes to feast on such wonderful creation of God such as these stars .

The stars surround you. At night they are everywhere, dotting the sky; in the daytime, one, our Sun, dominates, its brilliant light washing the others away until twilight yields to darkness. They are the givers of light and life. "To know ourselves, we must know the stars."
