Fancies about candles

I really don't understand myself that why is it , lately I sensed myself being obsessed with fancy and colourful candles . What even turns me on further is the sweet scent of the candle which comes in really attractive shapes , sizes and packaging. Candles , as we all know are made out of wax. A candle is a light source usually consisting of an internal wick which rises through the center of a column of solid fuel.This also depends on the type of wax that is used to make candles such as fine wax , soft wax , hard wax , stone wax or even hard wax . Candles can also be made out of re-cycle wax and yes you heard me correct - re-cycle wax . Candles were widely used in medieval times and they could be found in great halls, monasteries, churches, cottages, and shops. The simplest (and smelliest) candles— known as rush light— were made by dipping rushes in leftover kitchen which divulges in alot of fats.Candles were used up until the early 1900s as the single source for artificial light. Candles also have a rich tradition in religious services in many faiths through-out history. Today, the candle is no longer the single source of light but is used abundantly in religious services as well as in birthday celebrations, holidays, and home decorations.

I have to admit that candles these days makes a really nice gift be it for birthday , wedding , Christmas or for any occassion for that matter . In times like these , candles can really be costly because the main raw material used in making a candle besides wax is petrol . What causes the sweet smelling of aroma therapy candles is when of using scented oils (preferably essential oils) , helps to promote healing, relieve stress, or just improve your mood. Many people like to burn aromatherapy candles for their ease of use and availability. To be considered a true aromatherapy candle, the scent must be true essential oils and not a synthetically created scent.

Scented candles help to create an ambiance with its soft flickering flame and pleasing aroma. When we come home from a stressful day at work, there's nothing quite like the soothing effects of a wonderfully scented home. It can transform a house into your own personal get-away!
