As we approach the coming Yuletide , I'm sure most of us would have heard or still be hearing to the sounds of many Christmas carols or hymns been played in our homes , offices , radio stations , churches and of course - shopping centres too. One of my many favourite singers who sings really beautiful Christmas carols , is none other than Cliff Richard . His Christmas album - CLIFF AT CHRISTMAS has many good variety of beautiful and pleasure listening carols as well as one or two contemprary songs which I should say , sounds very much like a Christmas carol too. My personal favourite from this album , I have to say it's THE CHRISTMAS SONG ( chestnuts roasting on an open fire ). Yup ! sounds pretty common huh ! but I have to say , this version sung by Cliff - is totally different from the usual one that we are so use to listening .
Well then folks , before I end , just to share with you another song from this album which has pretty meaningful words that we should ponder upon thinking about no one else but the Saviour alone .
SAVIOUR'S DAY
Now We Have Been Through The Harvest
Winter Has Truly Begun
Now We Have Walked In The Chill
Of The Night
We Are Waiting For , Waiting For
For The Saviour's Day
Many Have Come From The Valleys
Many Have Come From The Hills
Many Have Started Their Journey Home
To Be With Someone , With Someone
On The Saviour's Day
Open Your Eyes On Saviour's Day
Don't Look Back Or Turn Away
Life Can Be Yours If You'll Only Stay
He Is Calling You , Calling You
On The Saviour's Day
Joining The Old And The Young Ones
Joining The Black And The White
Meeting The Need Of The Hungry Is He
Will We Ever Remember Him
On The Saviour's Day
