Forest reserve in the city !

Just over the weekend , a friend and I made a morning walk to the highest hill in the city which also has the only rainforest located in a city within the golden triangle area . We started of from the entrance of the rainforest reserve area and eventually made our way to the top through the long and winding path . As one starts approaching the winding curve , you can start feeling the pressure and strain in your leg and calf . Ouchhh !!! Hence , once we have reached the peak of the hill , there's another route , a staircase actually which goes way right into the jungle area . Yup - a man made staircase inside the forest . I found it rather peculiar because imagine - a staircase inside a jungle !!! Who would ever think of such an idea of building walking staircase inside a rather deep jungle area ??? Goodness gracious me !!! Anyway my friend and I somehow felt safe because of the stairs or else we may just end up losing our way in and out of the jungle - so - there's somehow the pro's of building walking staircase in a jungle . Hope this gets the attention of National Geography or Animal Planet ( minus the animal in this case - wink ! wink ! ) . Well , coming back to this morning walk , we finally reached the end of this forest whereby there was a playground area ( what used to be a playground area actually ) , an empty field space and also an area for those who wish to workout using wood made exercising equipments ! Indeed a pretty unique sight to be found at the end of a forest reserve area . Finally , after hanging around for some time around the ' playzone area ' , we finally made our descend from the forest via the dangling rope hanging between the huge tree trunks , back to the hill area and eventually walking down to the not so busy city area ( because it was a Saturday morning ! ) and walking along the long and not so busy streets of the golden triangle area . Oh ! what a productive way to begin the weekend with - experiencing nature at it's best !
