The craze for Korean noodles

What I’ve been reading in the newspaper in recent times is not so pleasing to my ears and tongue . Yeay ! you guessed it right – I’m indeed a big fan of Shin Ramen – the famous Korean noodles ! Tastes way better than that of our Maggie mee or whatever local brand that is pretty famous in our local market . Unfortunately , the product had been recalled as the ministry of health is in the midst of conducting tests to determine if they had excessive amounts of plasticiser, di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) ( and I'm totally clueless as to what all this name means ). " We are strengthening our workforce at our entry points to detect contaminated products as soon as possible and to ensure that no such food product slips through our ports and gates " - so says the ministry of health ! Just a simple question mr minister - " you mean to say all food that enters the country is not checked if it safe for the people's consumption ??? "

Read here about Korean noodles to see if what you consume is safe or not .
